Harvest Christian Centre was founded in 1924 in Elvins, Missouri, during the early days of lead mining in St. Francois County. Sparked by a passion for full gospel ministry, Brother Charles Roscoe Jones and Brother Fred Jackson laid the foundation for what would become a vibrant, Spirit-filled church. What began in a simple slab building with sawdust floors has grown into a powerful ministry reaching locally and globally.

   Over the decades, Harvest has been guided by faithful pastors and marked by seasons of revival, growth, and miracles. In 1988, Pastor Dwight Jones was elected, ushering in a new era of vision and expansion. Under his leadership, the church built new facilities, changed its name to Harvest Christian Centre, and launched bold efforts in outreach and missions. Today, the church stands on the very hill once seen in a prophetic vision—a beacon of light to the world.

   Harvest now supports over 100 missionaries and reaches millions through radio broadcasts, digital platforms, and a growing television ministry. In 2024, Harvest began broadcasting nationwide on the Greater Love TV Network, further extending the reach of the Gospel. With a heart for missions and a passion for the presence of God, we remain committed to being a last-days church—where the broken find healing, the lost find salvation, and the power of the Holy Spirit is poured out.

   In 2023, Harvest launched Signet Christian School, a K-12 ministry committed to partnering with parents to raise up sons and daughters through God’s Word and academic excellence. Rooted in biblical truth and a Spirit-led environment, Signet exists to equip the next generation for godly leadership, service, and purpose. Today, we are breaking ground on a brand-new education facility attached to the church campus, which will serve as the permanent home of Signet—further advancing our vision to disciple and educate students for a life of purpose and impact.

   Through every season, Harvest has held fast to one central focus: Jesus. We are not built on personalities or programs, but on the presence of God. From the altar to the nations, we believe every life matters, every soul is worth pursuing, and every generation deserves to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit. This is more than a church—it’s a move of God.
