WHO WE ARE

Harvest Christian Centre has been a place of hope, healing, and Holy Spirit-led ministry in the Parkland region for over 100 years. Though we are affiliated with the Assemblies of God, our congregation is beautifully diverse, made up of people from many different denominational backgrounds—Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Pentecostal, and beyond. At Harvest, we leave denominational and religious labels at the door and fix our eyes on Jesus. Our passion is to lift Him high in every service, every ministry, and every life. From powerful worship and biblical preaching to ministries for all ages, our goal is simple: to help you encounter God and walk in His purpose. No matter your past or where you’ve come from, you’ll find family here. We stand side by side—equal at the foot of the cross—pursuing the presence of God together.

OUR PASTORS

Pastors Dwight & Tammy Jones have faithfully led Harvest Christian Centre for nearly four decades. In the late 1980s, while serving as a traveling evangelist, Pastor Dwight felt a divine call to plant roots in Park Hills. With fewer than 20 people in the congregation, he and Tammy embraced the assignment and have since shepherded the church through remarkable seasons of growth, revival, and vision. Under their leadership, Harvest has become a thriving, Spirit-led ministry impacting lives both locally and globally. Pastor Dwight is also a published author, with titles including Living in the Days of Lot, The Judas Factor, and a novel, Moments: The Story of Gil and Macey.

The Men’s Ministry at Harvest is dedicated to helping men grow into the leaders, husbands, and fathers God has called them to be. We believe true spiritual growth happens side by side, which is why our main gatherings happen every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM—built around great food, authentic brotherhood, and real accountability. Alongside our monthly nights, we also gather for special quarterly events designed to sharpen our faith and build strong, spirit-led men across the Parkland region.

Our Women's Ministry is a vibrant community where women from all walks of life come to connect deeply, cultivate authentic sisterhood, and pursue the heart of God. We gather every first Monday of the month at 6:00 PM to step away from the busyness of life and find encouragement through focused devotionals and real connection. In addition to our monthly gatherings, we host special quarterly events—ranging from seasonal tea parties to casual fellowship nights—always offering a warm welcome for women in every season of life.

BIBLE FELLOWSHIP

Deepen your understanding of God's Word through our Bible Fellowship program. We offer engaging Sunday school classes for every single age group, alongside specialized seasonal electives throughout the year. From Harvest Heartbeat (our introduction to Harvest and beliefs) to deep dives into Bible Prophecy and life-changing studies like our Prayer Reset class, there is always an opportunity to anchor your faith and grow in community.

PRAYER

Prayer is not just something we do; it is the foundation of who we are. Every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM, we gather in the sanctuary for powerful, focused corporate prayer services. We believe in the breakthrough power of prayer and invite you to join us as we intercede for our families, our community, our nation, and the global harvest. Come seek the face of God with us.

NURSERY

We love our littlest ones! Our dedicated Nursery Ministry serves families with children from birth through Pre-K, providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment during our regular services. To ensure total peace of mind for parents, our nursery features a strict, secure tag check-in system, allowing you to fully experience church knowing your little ones are safe and cared for by background-checked volunteers.

SPECIAL NEEDS

At Harvest, we firmly believe that every individual deserves a place where they are seen, valued, and can experience the love of Jesus. Our SOAR Ministry is a dedicated space uniquely designed to serve the specific needs of individuals with special needs. Staffed by compassionate volunteers, SOAR provides a supportive, adaptive environment tailored to minister to your loved ones exactly where they are.

MISSIONS

Reaching globally is a core part of our church’s genetic code. Missions is truly the heartbeat of Harvest, and our congregation passionately supports over 100 missionaries stationed locally, nationally, and around the world. We are committed to resourcing those on the front lines so that the lost everywhere can hear the life-changing message of hope.

LOCAL OUTREACH

Serving locally is the hands-and-feet expression of our mission. Through the Raven’s Food Ministry, our teams hit the pavement every week using mobile food trailers to provide hot meals, fresh hospitality, and the love of Jesus directly to the homeless and hungry in our surrounding communities. Inspired by God's provision for Elijah, we bring tangible hope right to where the need is greatest.
